Summer Design Institute

The Summer Design Institute (SDI) at Staten Island Technical High School will consist of a 6 week program that will run from 8AM - 1 PM, Monday - Thursday, from July 5th - August 10th.  There will be 3 focus areas of study: Computer Science, Engineering, and Media Arts.  

 

Students will have the option of applying for the field that is of most interest, and will be placed with a teacher in their area of study.  Over the course of the program students will work on projects that will align to their field of study, earn Work Based Learning credit and get paid for your experience.  Students will also have the opportunity to take industry certification exams and credentials, including OSHA.
