Please be mindful of the 2025-26 Admissions Calendar which included the SHSAT Dates.

Admissions Calendar

• Tuesday, October 7, 2025: High School Application, LaGuardia Application & Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT) Registration Opens 
• October 8 - SITHS Open House (What Times: 4:30 pm, 5:15 PM, 6:00 PM, 6:45 PM)
• Friday, October 31, 2025: SHSAT Registration Closes 
• Wednesday, November 13, 2025: SHSAT School Day Testing 
• Sat / Sun, November 15-16, 2025: SHSAT Testing (8th grade students not participating in school day testing - students who attend charter, continuing (6-12), private, parochial, or independent schools, or who are homeschooled (students with accommodations will also be tested)
• Sat / Sun, November 22-23, 2025: SHSAT Testing (9th grade students)
• March, 2026 (Date TBA): High School Offer Release

Instructional Support Services Team Will Be Available on Wednesday October 8th.

For families and students who may require Instructional Support Services [Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT), Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS) and related services], the following members from our Instructional Support Services (ISS) Team will be available in Room 136 during the Accepted Students Event on October 9th to answer questions:
