hi Gina Torres hi my name is Ellie, I'm an atheist presidents I'm an artist I act in Spring musical anything and I'm a musician life at Staten Island Tech is vibrant there's a tremendous Community here and tons of diversity and not even just in terms of people there's diversity in the activities offered to us a different opportunity why I came to Staten Island Tech was because of the science and research program and programme in the program for the past three years and information to call Little professors and conduct actual research which we don't submit to competition such as if you're successful engineering Fair another fact is the opportunity to be able to work on a project like this as ice it's the only one in New York City and New York State for the fact in the Jazz Band IMDb Alto saxophonist Jazz really fun it is on Tuesday night is from 5 to 7 and the jazz band does the Staten Island Mall we also do the Nismo festival at the end of the year where we performed three little pieces and get graded on them for the past five years the Jazz Ensemble has achieved a gold rate Vanessa festivals stage crew in which we build and paint the sets for theater Productions in Festus on tax base but that's not the only opportunity that Tech offers there are opportunities over the summer for people to get paid and to work beautifying the school and making murals like the one behind me and text Foster's and unique environment for artists to grow unlike other school my freshman year I want your room so I saw the soo office was open so I walked in there message Houston Evan was so friendly they asked me to help out with a few things and I fell in love with it and I just stuck with it the whole four years I love the family orientation of it were all very close supportive of each other we know how to work together and we all have a common goal which is another reason why I love her so what we get to do I love making a change I love making sure everyone is hurt and I feel like with so4 able to create a better school community not difficult at all to manager academic coursework and my activities after school has been government because that's one of the parts about being a Tech student we all do so many extracurriculars we all have great academics it's not hard to manage it all and I everyone is doing
