History AP Courses

AP WORLD HISTORY (9th and 10th Grade)
All students will take AP World History in the 9th and 10th grade, with the Global History Regents and AP World History exams taken at the conclusion of the 10th grade. All students must pay for and take the AP exam.

AP UNITED STATES HISTORY (11th Grade)
All students will take AP World History in the 11th grade, with the US History Regents and AP US History exams taken at the conclusion of the 11th grade. All students must pay for and take the AP exam.

AP GOVERNMENT & POLITICS (12th Grade) 
You can choose to take AP Gov. or AP Macro or Non - AP "Participation in Government / Economics". All students taking an AP class must pay for and take the AP exam.
 
COURSE SELECTION BASED ON FOLLOWING:
PSAT – 20% (10% – READING, 10-% – MATH)
CLASS AVERAGES – 70%
(40% Weighted Grades 9-11 Cumulative History Avg + 30% Weighted Grades 9-11 Cumulative English Avg)
TEACHER RECOMMENDATION – 10% (Rating: 30, 50, 70 or 100)
