Scholarships

Bayway Complex Scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded to applicants in the following areas: Industrial, Process Technology, or Engineering, i.e., Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Computer. Each award will be a $1,000.00 scholarship; payable directly to the institution applicant is attending only upon the furnishing of proof of enrollment at said college. Recipients must be accepted by an accredited institution of higher learning (college, university, career or vocational school) and be enrolled in Industrial, Process Technology or Engineering curriculum. Scholarship recipients must provide proof of enrollment by November 2, 2020 or the CAP Scholarship Committee reserves the right to reallocate the funds. Maximum award is $1,000.00.

ELIGIBILITY
Applications are limited to High School Seniors living in Linden, Elizabeth, Rahway, or Staten Island.

Turner Youth Force Scholarship

Launched in 1989, the Turner Construction YouthForce program is designed to provide underserved New York City high school students with opportunities in the construction industry.

Turner offers an $8,000 scholarship to five students annually. Students are required to maintain a 2.80 GPA while pursuing a degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Sustainability, Construction Management or Architecture.

Additionally, students are offered a mandatory internship for three summers to begin following their freshman year of college.

Apply to SHAPE!

Hello prospective SHAPE 2020 students!

This is a reminder that our application is now open, and the priority and scholarship deadline is March 2nd. If you apply by this deadline, the application fee will be waived. We will begin reviewing applications immediately following the deadline and begin notifying applicants of our decision six weeks later, on April 13th.
