welcome to Tech welcome to the Staten Island Tech family Life at vibrate fast paced life at Staten Island Tech is a really good simulation if you will of life in the career world gets to learn how to manage a time here and it really prepares you for college and careers beyond always something for everyone there's ever Santa Claus on Friday at teams in Spanish friend spoke with the president of my sophomore year and I was pretty shy about dancing on stage but when I saw that it was my culture I have not felt like I actually really had to do this club and I enjoyed learning the choreography and then we went on stage and we did it really well that was one of the moments when I really Beyond Steel part of me and there's a tremendous Community here and hunt a better idea and not even Dustin from the people that everybody in the activities offered to us in the correct tire air that surrounds hack is something. full of life and breathes a lot of excitement the typical Staten Island Tech student is motivated always having a school with next Monday for somehow we always find time to have fun true passions and is very active incline as well as focus on their extracurricular activities Sports extension that I wanted it for years you create a community earlier so FL it's basically the student council of the school we probably about we always take into account people's ideas for different events and get them from everyone John also because it's one of the Big O or everything in school I want to go home and talk with her I don't even know they sure didn't even in the office and then I can pay them off every light and I'll get to that in a ball people are especially with the steering hard with extracurricular activities and different ways to express your artistic side of everything about the band program at Staten Island Tech the creativity aspect behind it you can compose your own songs and chamber groups or by your improvisation side Flow Free in the Jazz Band other schools tend to focus on the technical side of the music and not so much the expressive part of it Staten Island Tech really excels at combining the two and making sure that you get educated on the musical aspects of things while still having fun and making friends isn't necessarily the greatest athletically there because we can hold our own with the best of them ever imaginable if he has baseball football soccer wrestling team how many fools can you say have a handball team being a student-athlete is very good for relationships in school with all sports you're going to learn stuff such as leadership and teamwork and communication and but also inside that will be exposed to so many people who are coming into this pool that once you walk in there always known to have friends in school each year at Tech we do two major Productions we do a spring musical every year and in the fall we do a thing production which is completely student-run and it's written by the students directed by the students choreographed these hats are built by the students most populated events in school sell the most kids in the school are doing saying whether it's Stay True Tattoo Studio Grill everyone contributes the same Department as a whole rather than thing as bring me the book really brings people together, my best friend my closest friends I've met through the theater attack I'm especially coming in freshman year and doing things like a great way to meet people that are both the same age with you and people that are gold if not just your kids if the job the nerd or the fix. Peter get that are all coming together to make something bigger than a cell is a really unify experience and I am always so proud of the students and watching them do that year after year they really look like they're at the height of just enjoying themselves and being teenagers and having a great time and it's one of my favorite things about working here I think what makes me most attack is the students that tells if it's wonderful to work with them they are so enthusiastic about learning new thing I think the most important lesson that I want my students to walk away with is that that really learning is is the goal it's not about the a it's not about having a particular number on your transcript it's really about having a lifelong love of learning and always trying to improve yourself and prove your skills and improve your knowledge if you come by on Saturday. Is one of the stations that you will ever meet in your entire life and of course I'm biased I'm here but pack has offered me and I know it will offer you a sound of opportunity you both chemically in front of your community and social with purse just so many things that go on here and asked if not just academic Naja clients not just know what is Uconnect trust me
