Mr. Everton Henriques
Mr. Henriques specializes in the Introduction to Engineering & Robotics, Computer Aided Design (CAD), and Fundamentals of Engineering courses at Staten Island Tech. Mr. Henriques' extracurricular roles include serving as a coach and advisor to the Science Olympiad, SeaPerch Underwater Robotics, and Solar Car teams. Additionally, Mr. Henriques supervises in-house engineering interns, makerspace projects, and the robotics portion of the annual UAU Summer STEAM Camp.
Prior to joining Tech's technology department in 2014, Mr. Henriques spent 4 years in the Rochester Institute of Technology-affiliated PLTW engineering pathway, teaching the Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering courses. Mr. Henriques' industrial experience includes research, manufacturing, and product development roles at IBM, Panasonic, Alfred University, and AVX Corp.
