Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Architecture Career Discovery Program

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute invites students to register for the Architecture Career Discovery Program, which will be held Monday, July 6 – Friday, July 17, 2020. This two-week class, taught entirely online, is designed to expose students to the experience of enrolling in a high-quality undergraduate architecture program. High school students entering 10th, 11th, and 12th grade in the fall, who are interested in future careers in architecture or design related fields and have a curiosity about the world, are encouraged to apply.  NOTE: There are tuition fees.

In an effort to help you learn more about college opportunities in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) during this time, Stevens Institute of Technology is participating in three days of virtual STEM presentations and information sessions! We are collaborating with 31 other colleges from around the country from Tuesday, May 19 – Thursday, May 21 to provide you with information and insight about college programs and careers in STEM. Solve a Real-World Pandemic by Analyzing, Researching, and Writing

This week, students will have the opportunity to develop their critical thinking, research, and collaboration skills by participating in engaging, gamified simulations about critical issues in public health, either alone or with a group.

Join the Youth Summit at the 2020 Points of Light Conference Online Experience

While the Youth Summit has shifted to a digital experience, the core objective has stayed the same: preparing youth leaders of today to be the civic leaders we need tomorrow. The online experience will be led by the Points of Light Youth Council and will include online workshops and a live chat to help youth understand various ways they can support their communities.

The experience will also include Positive Impact Pitch contest. Youth Summit participants will have the opportunity to apply for a chance of funding up to $1,000 to implement a plan to positively impacts their community.
