Summit Education organizes virtual summer programs for high-achieving students interested in STEM fields. In 2026, Summit will run two programs: the Summit STEM Fellowship (SSF) and Summit Research Scholars (SRS).
Summit STEM Fellowship (SSF): SSF empowers the next generation of STEM leaders by helping students explore a wide range of STEM fields and career pathways while building leadership and life skills. The fellowship is a flexible 10–15 hour per week commitment, allowing students to participate alongside other summer activities. The tuition for the 3-week program is $875, which includes 30+ hours of live instruction and access to a network of 50+ mentors from Harvard, Stanford, MIT, and other top institutions. Tuition helps cover the costs of running the program and bringing together exceptional mentors and speakers.
Summit Research Scholars (SRS): SRS equips students with the tools to conduct original research, covering essential research methods and technical skills. At the end of the program, students complete a Research Capstone and practice applying their skills to solve real-world problems. The tuition for the 3-week program is $2,900, which includes 80+ hours of live instruction, discussion section, office hours, and more. Tuition helps cover the costs of running the program and bringing together exceptional instructors and mentors.

Summit Education provides generous need-based financial aid to support families who may not be able to afford the full program tuition. The 2026 Pre-College Semiconductor Summer Program is a residential, five-week program designed for rising high school sophomores and juniors, as well as graduating high school seniors interested in exploring careers in the Semiconductor field. This program aims to inspire students and introduce them to careers in the semiconductor industry, specifically in Engineering Science or Electromechanical Technology. Enrolled students are afforded the opportunity to get a head start on their college educational pathways and participate in field trips to various four-year colleges/universities and corporations.

The program runs from July 8 to August 11, 2026. During this time, students will enroll in eight transferable college-level credits and participate in tutorial and study sessions. Students will also participate in educational and career-focused field trips. They will visit four-year academic institutions and leading companies that manufacture innovative semiconductor equipment, offering valuable opportunities to network with educators and industry professionals.

Best of all, the program is FREE. Accepted students will receive a scholarship that covers tuition and fees, room and board, and books and supplies. Additionally, program participants will receive a $1,000 stipend upon completing the program.

Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes provides participants with an immersive Stanford classroom experience and challenges students with advanced content not typically found in the high-school curriculum.
Choose from over 75 online summer courses that provide in-depth and interactive exploration of academic material. Courses are ungraded and are not awarded credit. Explore courses in subjects such as artificial intelligence, creative writing, engineering, mathematics, philosophy, and more.

Join the Mott Million Dollar Challenge — a pitch competition for kids and teens. This is the place where your best ideas come to life. 
Kids and teens grades K-12, from any U.S. state or the District of Columbia can enter solo or with a team of up to three. Just jot down your idea, record a simple 30-90 second video about it and submit by February 27th, 2026.
Kids and teens will compete for prizes throughout the competition, with a total prize pool of $1M.

The Summer Arts Institute (SAI) application is still open and accepting applications until February 25.

SAI is a FREE four week summer arts program for rising 8-12th grade students administered by the NYCPS Arts Office.
