JOINT EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (JEDI Program) Application Opens

Once again, the Staten Island Technical High School (SITHS) Career Development Center (CDC) is partnering with United Activities Unlimited (UAU) to offer a meaningful career development and summer internship program! The JEDI Program is back with all new content; and by “NEW” we mean that whether you are interested in joining for the first time, or you are joining for the second time, you will be experiencing new workshops.
We are currently gauging interest in the program. We have limited slots available. Juniors and Seniors who fit into the following criteria will be given priority. Sophomores that will be 16 by 7/1/26 may also apply.

Columbia University’s Hackathon: “Rethinking Food Systems for a Hungry Planet”

This semester, Modulus Research is hosting an online hackathon titled “Rethinking Food Systems for a Hungry Planet”, focused on tackling one of humanity’s most pressing issues — how to sustainably feed a growing global population. This event invites students interested in biology, sustainability, data science, policy, engineering, and social impact to collaborate, innovate, and design solutions that could reshape how we think about food production, access, and equity.
