Trinity School NYC's Engineering Club holds a series of guest speaker events where industry experts, professors, and graduate students talk about their cutting-edge project and their respective engineering sub-field(s). They would like to extend this opportunity to high school students at other schools as well.
Ever wondered what it’s like to design infrastructure in a combat zone, lead a team of elite Army engineers, or graduate from one of the most prestigious leadership academies in the world? We are thrilled to announce a special guest speaker event featuring Lieutenant Colonel Mark Haseman and Major William Schmidt from The United States Military Academy at West Point.
This isn't your typical career talk. These speakers are coming to share how they blend high-stakes military leadership with cutting-edge engineering to solve global challenges. Whether you’re interested in robotics, civil infrastructure, or how to get a world-class education for free, this is your chance to get the inside scoop.
Why high school students should be there:
- The West Point Edge: Learn about the unique academic and leadership journey at "The Point."
- Engineering in Action: Hear stories about real-world projects that save lives and build nations.
- Pathways to Success: Get direct advice on military careers, ROTC, and the admissions process.
