No prior experience in research or computer science is required — only curiosity and a passion for solving real-world problems. Participation is completely free, and students will be guided through workshops and mentoring sessions led by Columbia University students and faculty.
The hackathon will take place from November 9 – November 16, beginning with a Kickoff Event on November 9 at 1:00 PM (EST). Throughout the week, participants will attend interactive talks and collaborate with peers online. The event will conclude with a Final Showcase on November 16 at 11:00 AM (EST) at Columbia University, with a hybrid option available for those unable to travel. Local travel subsidies will be provided to eligible participants.
