The Karim Kharbouch Coding Fellowship is a 12-month program that starts with paid, virtual summer tech-intensive training followed by monthly career & college access workshops and coaching, and tech workshops that build on summer content. Fellows receive support securing internships, acceptances to work-based learning programs, and admission to college STEM programs. The Fellowship is free, and participants receive a stipend during summer instruction.
Fellows will use industry-standard technologies to learn how to create a brand, wireframing, basic HTML & CSS, and introductory programming skills for languages like Javascript. They will also build foundational career readiness assets and skills like developing a resume, interviewing, and networking.
