Students will be able to attain community service credits from stewardship projects offered during the program.
Interns will be involved in a mix of different types of Art and Conservation themed projects and lessons each week. Including trail marking, bat boxes, nature journaling, painting, photography, and more.
Photos taken by the students will be featured at Freshkills Art Gallery. Sessions will be held at Blue Heron Park at 222 Poillon Avenue in Annadale, unless otherwise specified.
With the theme this Fall Semesters being Conservation Through Creation, it will be an eight week program that predominantly takes place at Blue Heron Park in Annandale & Freshkills Park/Office every Wednesday from 3:30pm to 6pm between October 18th and December 13th 2023.
