AIA Center For Architecture: Vacation Program: Introduction to Digital Design (Grades 9-12) – In-Person

Students will learn the ins and outs of the software, and of the architectural design process, as they create designs for their own ideal personal shelter. Develop a unique piece for your portfolio and gain skills to continue 3D digital modeling for personal or school projects.
 

*This event is occurring in-person at the Center for Architecture*

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Dates: Tuesday, April 19 – Thursday, April 21 (NYC Public Schools Spring Break) 

Requirements:

Students will need to bring their own laptop and charging cord with Windows 10, 8, or 7 or Mac OS 10 operating system for this class. Students can bring their own mouse or CFA will provide a wired mouse for student use. Students will be sent a link to download the free SketchUp software prior to the first day of class. Students with Chromebooks can use the free web-based SketchUp software.

Please note this program comes with a registration fee of $400.
