Jump Start Game Jam Competition

A game jam lets participants try their hand at creating a video game — from coding on up. "Our Jump Start Game Jam has been designed with first-time participants in mind," said Gavin Camlin '21, an IGDA Becker club officer. "We know that tons of high school students who have a passion for games are searching for fun, new things to do during the pandemic and we thought a game jam might hit the spot."
Those who sign up will also get the chance to hear some mini-talks from local game industry professionals like Gwen Frey and Owen Leech, and more- who have worked on games likeBio-Shock, Kine, Elder scrolls online, Flame and the Flood.
