Caremonkey (URGENT: Register Now!)

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to advise you that Staten Island Technical High School is adopting a new system named CareMonkey.

The CareMonkey system makes it very easy for you to respond to school forms, field trips, surveys and other consent forms using your mobile phone, tablet or PC. No more paperwork! No more lost forms or notes in school bags, no more concerns about children missing out on information when they are absent. In the future you’ll also be able to make payments for forms that require a fee (ex. School Trips).

Using Caremonkey will greatly reduce the burden on you to provide information that is repetitive. For example, it will allow you to keep your child’s emergency contact and medical information up to date; so you don’t need to repeat this information again whilst your child is at the school. It also puts you in control of this data so you’ll always know what emergency contacts and medical information is shared with the school.

We will use your email address on file from the NYC DOE Database & PupilPath in order for you to use the CareMonkey system. You don’t need to do anything else until you receive an email invitation asking you to sign up for your free CareMonkey account. You will receive a registration email during the week of September 2nd and thereafter. After that, you’ll receive notifications whenever there is an electronic form to complete for the school.

From the schools perspective, your child’s information will only be visible by the relevant staff for your child and will be managed in accordance with our privacy policies.  Details about CareMonkey’s security and privacy procedures can be found here: https://www.caremonkey.com/security-practices/

Please feel free to contact the school if you have any questions. You can also visit the CareMonkey website for more information: www.caremonkey.com. There’s also a parent page with a short video that shows you how the system works for parents here: https://www.caremonkey.com/parents/

We appreciate your assistance.
