Jessica Clark

Jessica Clark is the school social worker for Staten Island Technical High School. In her role, Ms. Clark supports students with Individualized Education Plans (IEP), facilitates individual and small group counseling, connects all members of the SITHS family with community resources, and serves as the school counselor for homerooms 24AB&C and 23A&B. Ms. Clark also serves as School Lead for mentorship program My Sister's Keeper,  and the school's Special Education Liaison and Transition Liaison to best support the needs of students with disabilities.
 
Ms. Clark is passionate about trauma-informed educational practices and focusing on the mental health and wellness of the student population. Ms. Clark has a particular interest in incorporating the arts as a means of self expression, including Expressive Art Therapy groups to provide an outlet from the demands of a prestigious academic institution. Prior to SI Tech, Ms. Clark was on the administrative team of an interpersonal prevention education program, directed the training and development of a crisis hotline, and oversaw the therapeutic support services for crime victims on Staten Island through a non-profit agency.
