VISIT

Staten Island Tech believes that early exposure is the key to motivate students into exploring STEAM fields and attending a Specialized High School. In many cases, the best environment for these academically gifted young people is a STEAM related setting like that of Staten Island Tech. The road ahead is rough, and being academically prepared helps pave the way!

 

The VISIT Program gathers 5th and 7th graders meeting certain academic criteria from local schools, who are accompanied through SI Tech by current students. During a VISIT session, students receive an in-depth tour of the building and participate in hands-on activities in topics such as engineering, 3D design, television production, and the Russian language. Students are picked up by school bus at their school on the morning of a VISIT session.
